Wow at the long crack that was tunneled by ants And lol @ the big bags of ant killer next to the ant mounds. I don't know why I find that so funny, but I do. I guess cause it's like I know what's coming and yet they have no clue

I just hate fire ants because I am one of the people allergic to them, which is pathetic. Imagine if someone asks you "are you allergic to anything" and you answer the one and only thing you are allergic to, "fire ants". Fast forward to the "excuse me, what did you say?" part and having to say it louder so that everyone hears and snickers. Being allergic to bees, acceptable...being allergic to an ant, pathetic!

I know what you mean. I have been allergic to fire ants since I was badly bitten while squirrel hunting. My cousin and I treed three black squirrels in an Oak Tree in the middle of a fallow corn field. I was circling the tree trying to get a sot and stopped hoping my cousin would drive them around to me. Of course I stopped on a large fire ant bed. I felt stinging and looked down to see my right pants leg was solid black with ants. I stripped in the field but it was too late. My leg swelled to twice it's normal size, was hard as a brick, red in color and leaking pus from all of the wounds. Ever since if I get one ant sting I am toast.

Ouch Apache...I am feeling your pain. But when the fire ants get me, I wind up having trouble breathing and having to go into the hospital for treatment. I am just one of those who can go into shock if I don't get treatment. Over an ant...I say blow them all up! Make them pay. Eh, I have a right to be vindictive. They can actually take me out. So it's them or me. Personally I like me more than them so I say let them die!
