Had a deputy here that recovered a high school student's back pack. He kept the laptop and turned in everything else. The kid had Lojack and the deputy is out of a job but, getting free room and board from The State of Georgia.

I'm sorry to say Jaspurr but no it really depends on where you live. Considering I was going to be a police officer and have friends that are police officer's. This subject comes up more often than you would think.

Just like any people regardless of social class you will always have bad mixed with good. The police officer's out here in Barrie are all pretty bad even worse than Peel region and Metro east. Too many young officers with god complexes.

You will find that most of the good cops work in Metro(except Metro east),RCMP, or for the OPP. When you have a cush job out of the way from the constant shooting's and hardcore criminal's and only have to deal with domestic's for the most part, alot forget why they joined in the first place and treat everyone like criminals! Ontario really needs to bring back community policing(Beat cops like what you are used to Jaspurr).

Ontario is very quickly becoming a police state, where you are presumed guilty first before being proven innocent.
