Wow I'm impressed with Hornady (ammo reloading)

So a while back I got into reloading. I bought a progressive press with a automatic case feeder. It's a Hornady Lock n' Load AP1000. Well since I didn't have a pistol at the time I had setup my press for reloading .308. Well since then I bought a HK USP in .40 I'd thought I'd start reloading those as well. I ordered everything I needed. When it showed up I was giddy as a girl. I setup the press. Everything was going great until I tried to setup the auto case feeder. For the small .40 round it required a different smaller o.d and i.d feeding tube of clear acrylic type. Similar to what you see in some aquariums. Well just at that point I remembered about a month ago I recall grabbing the feed tube out of a drawer and thinking "wtf is this? Must be packaging" and I threw it out. Doh! Well after trying online to find it then going to h/w stores and aquarium places all over town I decided to call Hornady. I told the rep my story. Including the part about me being a dufus. She said they had em in stock and that they were going to ship it to me under warranty. No Charge! Thats customer service!

That's some good service. My father is a hard core re loader for his match shooting that he does and I went over there last week to load up couple hundred rounds. There is no case or bullet feeder tubes but his progressive press still made it an easy task.

My father always talks about how good many of the people he deals with are in the customer departments of the many online vendors he deals with.

Nice. I've thought about getting into reloading, especially before the government bans ammo Until then, maybe I could just put some orders in to you, huh, Mapes?

Sorry CA law prohibits giving more than 50 rounds of ammo between non licensed ammo dealers

I used to reload my own ammo & it was fun doing it. But sold it all off & some guns which i regret doing so as i needed the money at that time in my life & thought about getting back into it.

                  At one time?

Quick question:In CA, you have to be 21 or 25 to purchase and own a pistol?

For a handgun yes you must be 21. For long arms I believe over 18 is cool

Man word of mouth is terrible these days. I grew up thinking it was 25, because someone told me that, and I have told people that.
                      Thanks mapes.

BTW, were you playing bf2 the other day? Someone has the name Mapes.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
