I'm a parent of 3 kids(2 Girls & my Boy) 17, 15 and 12. I give my 17yr old Daughter alot of slack because I was not allowed to go out much when I was her age due to my parents restrictions which now I fully understand why they did it. And she gives it back. She has a cell with her all the time.....and she knows.....if she messes with the bull....she'll get the horn. I'm like a Red Forman with my kids but I believe alot of whats going on is from parents not sticking their noses into their kids business and know what their kids are up too, who they hang around with etc and notice trouble signs if something does happen.

You know I hate to say it, but these just like neighborhoods in the states need to stand up and kick their butt out of the area. They have to be taught that it will not be tolerated. Until our societies learn that allowing this behavior is the worse possible thing you can do, it will get worse. Of course it's not helping at all that single parenting, at least in the U.S., has become a very common thing. It seems the responsibility factor is being lost and unfortunately as long as the world becomes a non believer in corporal punishment at a young age, I guess they reap what they sew.
