PS3 Vs XBOX360

lol what was that all about?
I have played both extensively, more than 100+ hours online with both systems.
The majority of what I posted was simply, Fact, not opinion.

WARNING: says the S word.
For 360, the BC is fine, except that they dont offer all original xbox games, only what they call Xbox 2.0 games, basically the not so old ones, or good ones they decided to update or whatever. PS3, as far as I know, you can stick any old PS game in there, it will just look worse than it did originally, no matter what you do.
I have seen this for myself, tested the games simultaneously.
And, if anyone has played any games on both systems, I prestiged twice in CoD4 PS3 version, and once and a half on a 360, 360 players have mics more often, and they have much more skill.
And not just in CoD4, Bad Company was even more of a gap, the ps3 guys sucked pretty bad, when I moved to 360 I was amazed at the skill increase.
Oh yeah, the 360 controllers, the joysticks atleast, are more sensitive, can move faster than the ps3 sticks.
IDK why, it just is.
Or maybe the games are just programmed faster, but you can get more sensitive on a 360 than a ps3.
Also, I think there is a lot more modding for the xbox controllers. Hair triggers and the like. I hate the new shoulder buttons on the PS3, those halfassed triggers or whatever they are.

So in trying to avoid additional fires... ...how about for the gamer aspect the 360 has more players (in part due to its price and earlier release) and thus probably more that have played longer on any given non-exclusive title since rating skill is going be very subjective.
I say pick the one that you think will do the best for your needs whether it be gaming, movies or both.

I do believe PS3 games look better, the ones that come out for both. The system is atleast 4x more powerful than an xbox, so they SHOULD look a hell of a lot better.
When GTAIV came out, I was playing it on a friends PS3, and went to another friends house, and he was playing it on 360, 360 had this strange, shiny look to it, and the pop in was worse.
I think the ps3 actually had a better draw distance also.
I think you hit it right on the head Kurlon with the player counts and other stuff I was saying. 360 had almost a full year on ps3 right?
Did you make a buy yet Savage Hobo?
Post your username for whatever system you get in the appropriate section and get some game on.

More things to take into consideration, that we will need a PS user confirm though.
Xbox live has recently got things like facebook, zune, netflix and live.fm.
I DO NOT know if playstation network does any of this.
Netflix on xbox live works great, much better than streaming onto your pc monitor(for me atleast).
small stuff, but still might sway some people.

Netflix (w/ a utility disc) and Facebook are on PSN.
I believe Netflix is going to have full support w/o a disc sometime in Jan.
