Feedback on Ebay

I was wondering, in particular, my dad bought a vehicle on Ebay, but didn't actually make the monetary purchase THROUGH ebay..he went to he person and paid him in person.

That being said can feedback be left if a transaction was never made after you won, but you went in person to pay for it instead?

Yeah I bought several things that I paid in person in my state. there is a option that say something inline of "already paid" or "paid, then just go to leave feedback.

I have never paid in person, but like caddys said, there should be some option to choose, because if you win something and then it starts showing as the transaction was never completed, ebay will start to mess with you guys.

When you sell something, you dont get access to your money from paypal until the buyer leaves feedback or 21 days are up, which is major bs if you ask me.
Be careful with ebay and paypal, paying in person is probably the way to go, gj tonys dad.

You CANNOT leave feedback to someone without having a transaction on eBay's system. If your Dad bid on an auction and won then yes he can leave feedback since payment style is not required to be PayPal. HOWEVER, if your dad called the person personally and wanted to buy the car without going though eBay, the auctioneer would pull the car from eBay and proceed to selling the car to your Dad. That is done to avoid giving eBay what I think, is their fair share of the sale (~5% of final payment)

The Seller knows already knows about the fees.

but since we're talking about a automotive, it may be different. anyway try this:

All the buyer has to do is click on "My Ebay" then "Won" then click on the lil arrow that point down and click "mark as payment sent" then he can leave feedback.
