Not that's it's entirely loud (depending on the side of the yard he's on) But this idiot dog incessantly barks!!
It's a German Shepard....when I found it had gotten out of it's fencing one time, I almost didn't say anything and let it get lost...but being the nice guy, and they do have kids......I told him the dog was loose.
So he mended the fence.
This dog barks as if he's actually GOING after something..almost vicious sounding.
Thing is, they have their current German Shepard which is a nice, easy-going dog, and apparently the wife didn't like the fact it was easy going.
So they got a second dog that was a bit more vicious, so it could "intimidate" people.
I think this idea backfired on them, because now they can't "walk" the dog to use the bathroom (they walk the OTHER one) the reason they don't walk this one, because it LUNGED at us one time (good thing the owner had the leash on, that's all I can say). So they just "let it out" in the backyard to do its business.
The dog is friggin' pyscho, and I personally think they should just get rid of it (like give it to a farmer or something)
I personally think they raised it improperly, and I'm wondering even if THEY regret having the dog.
I never really said anything, I might if I have an opportunity to, meaning if I happen to bump into them while they're out and about, but they hardly are.
But, the bright side is, they like would have him outside only for about an hour or a half hour, and then let him back inside for half the day. That way I don't hear him.
Anyone ever deal with this kind of thing before?
I don't want to be the arsehole neighbor that goes complaining to them about their dog, so I figured I'd do it in a passive way if I ever get a chance....say something like, "Hey, I noticed you're dog was really going bonkers the other day(s).....is there something it sees like a racoon or fox or a burgler out there? He seemed really intense?
Kind of a round about way that the dog does get noticed.
