Not sure if this will reach national level but tonight for a good 4-5 hours or some some guy held up a building and held people hostage. He claimed he was strapped with a bomb. He later gave himself up.

Police have arrested Leeland Eisenberg, who is suspected of taking hostages at the Rochester office. He peacefully surrendered shortly after 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Authorities say the drama began when a distraught man wearing what appeared to be a bomb walked into the office and demanded to speak to the Democratic presidential candidate.

Shortly after releasing the last of at least four hostages, Eisenberg walked out of the storefront office this evening and was immediately surrounded by SWAT team with guns drawn.

Clinton and her husband have canceled all their appearances and security around the former first lady has been tightened.

This is about ~45 minutes from my house and about 5 minutes from the Ice Arena at which I practiced tonight. It was quite interesting considering nothing ever happens this far north east of the country.

Shortly after releasing the last hostage, Leeland Eisenberg walked out of the storefront office, put down a homemade bomb-like package and was immediately surrounded by SWAT team with guns drawn.

The suspect ? clad in gray slacks, white dress shirt and a red tie ? was put on the ground, handcuffed and taken two blocks to the police office in the back of a tactical response vehicle.
