A researcher at a Russian university has developed a powdered form of alcohol that will soon make the consumption of vodka more convenient. Russian professor Evgeny Moskalev of Saint Petersburg Technological University has evolved a technique that allows turning alcohol into powder and packing it in pills.

The new technique can solidify any kind of alcohol, including whisky, cognac, wine and beer. 'Dry' vodka can be wrapped in paper and carried around in a pocket or a bag.

At least it will be quick with no liver disease. People die every day from alcohol consumption, excessive, either from disease, accident, drowning in their own vomit. Alcohol is not bad, even the occasional moments of excess are not bad, it's called growing up, but repeated excess will kill you eventually. Besides, these things will never be licensed for retail sale. I guiess once they putt it in a pill format it will be covered by different regulations.

Im with you, I cant stand the taste of alcohol in drinks. Doesnt help my dad was a heavy drinker when I was young, spent enough time watching drunk morons doin stupid things to know its not good for you.

As a home brewer and a self proclaimed beer snob I will forget all the disrespect that had been aimed it's way.

I don't know, I really liked the beer in Germany and there are some very good Brandy, Scotch and Bourbon and yes even Tequila if you can afford it.

You should come to my house see my dad's wine collection o_o Tis huge hahaha... He loves it and drinks 1 (tis not glass idk how to say that special cup's name in english =___=) 1 cup a day to help with heart problems (so he says haha)

Those pills would be a death sentence to people here, they already drink a LOT...
Besides pills takes some times to react to your organism, so it'll be like drinking sake you'll drink drink drink and just feel how you actually are later
