    Melchor, Gaspar y Baltasar !!

I know you don't celebrate it, but we do over here and it's very important. The Three Kings are more popular than Santa Claus actually.

Before going to sleep, children put some milk and biscuits next to the Christmas tree for the Three Kings and some water for their camels. They also leave out their best pair of shoes to be filled with presents.

On the next day, January 6th, children wake up and see how many presents they have received. If they have been good, they will find a lot of good presents but if they have been naughty they will find coal. These days, the coal is actually made of sugar, but some years ago it was real coal.

This is something I have been doing since I was born, and it brings great memories, it is a very special night. So.... Feliz dia de los Reyes Magos de Oriente !!

Thank you Minerva! I hope that it is a wonderful evening and day for you tomorrow...I know you will get lots of stuff even if you don't put your "best" shoes out There are just some pairs that won't hold anything except feet so I suggest borrowing someone's giant boots for the larger gifts!
I love hearing of traditions from other parts of the world so keep sharing. So Feliz dia de los Reyes Magos de Oriente to you also!

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
