Lol! The photos of the drunks reinforce my opinion that legalizing weed really couldn't hurt anyone (more than they're doing already).

Some pretty cool (intended) snowfolks too. I saw one on the westside here the other day while working that I wanted to go back and photograph...it wasn't wild like these, but it was like a perfectly proportioned, old fashioned, carrot nose, coal eyes snowman...very well done.

                  From which vice?

Anyway, was just a joke, really. I have no need for weed...but was really commenting on how both weed and liquor destroy lives in different ways...which is why I added the last part:
"The photos of the drunks reinforce my opinion that legalizing weed really couldn't hurt anyone (more than they're doing already)".
See, the (more than they're doing already) part shows that I acknowledge the fact that both mess people up...and also the fact that, legal or not, the same folks who have a weakness for it, and probably who are more inclined to developing psychotic illnesses, will use these products anyway.

Not looking to get into a debate (as this isn't the forum for it) but weed is harmless. No one's ever developed mental problems from marijuana. Correlation, causation, you know the drill.

Anyway, our rule on messing with passed out people has always been it's only OK if they don't take their shoes off before passing out. The minute I start feeling toasty at a friend's place my shoes are sure to come off.

But you did bring the debate to the forum despite that so I will reply.

Have you ever worked in a psychiatric unit, drug unit, secure mental health unit? Well I have and there has been a proven correlation between the two. I saw this happen to a young man who thoughs spliffs were no worse than tobacco.

He has not worked since leaving college and he must be 49 now that is if he is still alive. He took more drugs than can be found at a Rolling Stone concert to control his behaviour and thoughts. I can remember how he told me how scary it was for the voice in his head to tell him to kill his family and how hard it was to resist that.

So please, unless you have witnessed, experienced worked with the poeple I have do not make simplistic statements that can be found on the 10th grade toilet walls
