I'm 32 and I need to rest for 7-8 hours to be productive. I spend 8 hours in front of a computer and I need to be fresh. I admit that I NEED those hours, and when I sleep less than that I don't feel 100%. I wake up at 7 am and I hate when I am so tired. I wake up, check the news while having my coffee, shower, get dressed, a little make up, my hair, check the mail, bla bla I am normally under pressure and stress at work so sleeping is like charging batteries for me. It is a very important part of my day, as weird as it might sound.

On the weekends I try not to sleep more than that otherwise I have headache

      What's going on???
I think we need to repeal this 24 hour day rule. It was a fun experiment, but its clear 24 just isn't enough. Who's up for 30 hours?

Better - repeal the 5 day work week.

They'd just make us work more to compensate. Kinda like how every time you get a raise, your health insurance goes up.

I like to get around 7-8 hours of sleep during the weekdays.

On the weekends, it's usually a tad more. I'm 18.

I put 1-3, heck it's 2:21 am right now. After I get off the computer I'm going to go into my living to catch up on some DVR and then possibly go to sleep at 3:30- 4:00am to be up by 5:00-5:30am. This is usually my monday through friday routine. Sunday if the wife lets me I'll crash all day to make up for it.

Man I do not sleep well these days, could be the stresses of ATC training though...

My schedule gets funky, I work a 2pm-10pm then turn around to a 7am-3pm, and my body just does not sleep well...

When I was a kid I'd easily fall asleep, now it takes AT LEAST an hour if not more, plus waking up in the middle of the night at various times.

My wife says I say stuff to her, and she says "it's ok, just go back to sleep," and I do lol!

oops I'm 24 too and I voted for 3-6 I think it twas....

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
