I don't know what is worse, Google or the people.

Here Link to the original post with comments

Found this while scrolling through some tech news on my phone. A writer on read/writeweb posted about the facebook and aol partnership that just happened. Long story short, google has his post before the real facebook page as a result of "facebook login". Hundreds of confused people post about how facebook has changed and they can't login.

I had a more optimistic idea of the general knowledge of people but that has been somewhat diminished . Anyways, gave me a good chuckle.

Sun Microsystems was exactly the same way as Google. They innovated, they patented, they acquired, and they spoke as if their words were sagely and that nothing they could do would be wrong.

    Today Sun = Oracle.

Google has brought consumers some really useful things that are mainstays in our lives....then again so did Sun (Java).

Google has brought things that we rely on........so did Sun.

There is nothing worse than an arrogant company with a business plan that makes no sense.

So, the humor is that some facebook users developed the habit of typing "facebook login" into the Google search box. This was how they got to their home page.

Until now, the top search link always led to facebook. However, news items about the new facebook design suddenly achieved higher page rank than facebook's home page when searching for "facebook login". Now, a few unfortunate individuals continue to click the first link in the search window and then complain that they can't get into their facebook pages.

At this point, it's impossible to know how many people really don't know how to bookmark their facebook login page. Most of the comments on the news items seem to be either "Fool!" or might be written by people pretending to be fools (pretending very well).

you'd be surprised how ppl use google and the search bars

they type in a name and just assume the first is the right one, i've seen it so many times.

whats worse, in this 'keep things secure' world, people type in like
        bank of scotland login
        rbs online banking

I'm not insane. I'm just overwhelming!

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
