Here in Texas, and especially Dallas, a lot of people use the phrase "if you don't like the weather now, just wait a few hours and it will probably change". Well there isn't a better example of this then what happened the past few days.
Friday (2 days ago, the high was about 75F): I wore shorts and a t-shirt and contemplated going swimming.
Saturday (yesterday, the high was 35F): All day it is very, very cold and windy. It starts snowing about 7PM and snows almost all night dumping 5 inches of snow on us.
So in a 24 hour period we went from swimming to snow with a 40 degree change in temperature. We set an annual record for snowfall this year with about 19 inches!
And of course who doesn't like pictures!?
