Happy Easter everyone. Vito I hear you are having some nice weather up there.

It was 75-80 all weekend TOTALLY INCREDIBLE !!!

Its like we woke up and life begins again.........the bees are out, the birds are singing, frogs keeping me up at night, everyone on the block is out doing stuff.

I put the winter equipment away so.......

I'm sure it will snow next week.... HA !!!

I'll tell you since it's interesting. Incidentally most of the religious holidays are celebrated at these times for the same reason.

The reason there are eggs and bunny's is because those are pre Christian pagan symbols of spring and fertility. When Christianity was spreading across pagan Europe the Christian church decided that holding special holidays on the same day's as the local pagans holidays would help win converts.
