Congrats Lady that's something to be proud of! The honor roll is something special to me because my grades during my freshman in high school were mostly D's and a F. One day an Air Force recruiter laughed at me when I told him that I wanted to be a pilot this "motivated" me to get off my butt and I made the honor roll my junior and senor year.
Congrats again!

Thanks everyone. Duke, I never did to well in high school. I didn't do really bad but it could of been better. I've always struggled with comprehending what I read. It got so bad that I dropped out of school. I did later go back and get my GED though.
When it came to college, I never thought I was smart enough and I always thought they went by your credit to get the loans. After my cousin going and dropping out a zillion times, I realized that I could get the loans and do it.
With my oldest having cerebral palsy and him talking about wanting to go to college, we never thought it was a possibility because he has a full time aid in school. When I started checking around for him and finding out that he can go, I decided I better get my butt in gear. He's not making excuses and I shouldn't either.
I know the online thing is easier then actually going to classes but I'm still doing it. I recently found out that I have lupus- I thought I had arthritis but it's something that I've dealt w/ for before school and I worked around it and I am still working around it.
It's just all exciting to me
