      That's unfortunate. Whenever I think of my Cocker Spaniel's limited lifespan it always makes me sad.

          Losing a pet/friend is one of the worst feelings ever.

          The best way to get over the loss of a pet is to get another one. They won't be the same as the old one but they aren't supposed to be. Before you know it, you have a new best friend.

              I'm real sorry to hear that Apache. My pom just turned 16 this week and I dread the day that I know is coming. There was a time when she was all I had to come home to. All I know is that when the day comes I will have at least 16 years of love and devotion going both ways to look back upon. I hope those memories will be some comfort for me and I hope yours are some comfort for you.
