I was at Camden Yards watching the Orioles game yesterday. They put a highlight of the U.S. tying in regulation on the jumbotron.

Nothing was mentioned about the subsequent Ghanaian goal in that endless OT period, of course.

By the by, the "time" system of this game is one of the bigger reasons why it will never, ever truly catch on in America. I was sitting in front of some college-age guys, and they kept asking each other why it was in the 105th minute, and all they could come up with was that there must have been some massive injury time--they had no idea about the OT (on top of that utterly random concept of stoppage time). The Onion piece someone posted around here is dead on--that clock is meaningless, and that bothers Americans.
