For those of you who do not social network

....I think it's become...at least in MY lifestyle, a very good tool of keeping in touch with current friends, even better, to be on top of social gatherings and parties as well when you get "invites"

So it seems that FB has come a LONG way, and is probably the most widely accept way to keep in touch with real life friends.

Anyone actually cave to use FB, that wasn't a believer at first, but now has changed their perspective on it as being useful?

I absolutely love FB (though I am a teenager so I've grown up with it).

I'm leaving for college in a week so it will make keeping up with my high school buddies easy!

Use Myspace and facebook to keep up with old friend/classmates. Now it seems that facebook is the main one I use cause alot of my friends went over to facebook.

Can't say I love FB but have been using it a couple of years. It's cool and is a great way to find and keep in touch with old friends.

However, if anyone sends me any more farm animals... I'm going to kill all their animals and burn down their farm!

I'm not a fan of FB but I have thought about getting one just to keep in touch with my old flying buddies and just this week my brother in-law is making a page dedicated to my wife's grandfather who passed away so I'm closer to pulling the trigger on it but not there yet.

I have to confess that I have deleted people because of the annoying farm thing that spammed my wall. It got to a point that was very annoying. I don't understand why people don't skip that and have the need to spam it so badly.

I do find it very useful to post family stuff in one location so everyone has easy access.

My son has found it useful for band events and promotions.

As a parent these days....you must embrace and use all the technology that the kids are using.

On the same note ... Twitter tells me where my son is at any given time LOL They use Twitter as a mass IM Service these days.

Embrace it folks .... its just the way things are ATM.

Things I like about Facebook

1. Keeping in touch with friends
2. Reconnecting with old friends
3. Tagging people in photos
4. The amount of spam sex friend requests are minimal

Things I hate about Facebook

Stupid games
Stupid contests
Stupid groups

Twitter... to me seems the stupidest thing ever. Are we really so self absorbed that you need to tell me what your doing down to the very second. Stupid

Exactly, that's the best part. You don't have to delete friends or block them, just hide the games post so they don't show up.

Facebook is just like other tools, you have to learn to use it instead of just taking the extreme action.

By the way, I love it. I have kept up more with family more in the last year than the last 25 years.

I "deleted" my account after using it for a bit. But no worries, one can reactivate their account and all the information is still there!

I "like" it, I don't use a lot of these things, most people I just keep in touch with are through e-mails. So much easier. Just get me phone and ready.

Fb is alright I guess, but I used it most for the games , but I never really liked farmville, only all the other ones LOL
