Obama awards living soldier the Medal of Honor

Take the time to look this over. Very inspiring, and it's still amazing to see what soldiers and people will do for their friends. This man deserves such an outstanding award for valor.

The story about brings tears to my eyes. It was followed closely in this area not only because of his exemplarly actions but because Sgt. Joshua Brennan, the one who died a day later from his wounds, was from McFarland, a town on Madison's southeast side. Apparently the two were the best of friends. Staff Sgt. Giunta's heroic deeds and humble nature (see also attached article)...well, I wish more youngsters would emulate true heroes like this and forget about the useless pro athletes, hip hoppers, rockers, reality show tarts...............
