USS Olympia, a naval veteran of two wars, battles for survival
So sad... I have a family history with this ship, my great uncle "Deb" served on this ship and he was an inspiration to my dad.
My dad has never seen the ship but I was lucky enough to visit it several years ago when I was working on a project in Philly. I'm glad I got to see her and wander through the same decks as my uncle once did.

I hope something can be done to save her but the cost is just enourmous to do so.
