I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the agreement you have to check to load all that stuff it'll say no refunds for software, etc. I doubt you'll be able to get one. Why do you ask, GR?

send in a ticket and ask to get a refund and take the game off steam. As long as its a beta you havent gotten the game yet, i did it with a game before but i dont remember which one

You can ask nicely and they will do it sometimes even though they don't have to. Just explain the situation. It would help too if you said "I plan to buy xxx game (offered through steam) instead"

I did that for Modern Warfare 2. They gave me my money back, but they also e-mail slapped me on the wrist for daring to demand my money back for an unreleased product.

Actually, come to think of it mine may have been BC2 too. You reminded me that I only got it when Cain was going to run the server. Both that beta and the entire idea of MW2 turned me off, so it could have been either one really.

Good New Steam have just sent me an Email confirming they have Refund my money for MOH they state the only reason I got a refund is because the Game was still on Pre order
