    Cyberpower help

What have you guys heard about cyberpower? I've read through some of the reselleratings stuff and they scored better than my other two computer builders but so many of the reviews sound way to professional. I can put together the same machine I got from (and sent back to) ibuyfraud for about $100 less.

Why send it back? It stopped working again or something? If it works perfectly - just enjoy the system and don't think about anything else.
Oh, and here's a review of the Cyberpower's system and their customer support... It's a little old but it's very detailed and very professional (hopefully not "way too professional" for your tastes ): http://consumer.hardocp.com/article....wxLCxobmV3cw==

Here's a forum thread discussing them as well:

Cyberpower's ratings from customers are, overall, much worse than most companies. If you look at some of the websites, they'll score higher than Dell or some others, but that's mainly because of a) dell-bashing, and b) Dell's ratings take into account everything they sell, which is much more than just computers.

PC World just did their yearly article on customer service, and Cyberpower was second to last out of about 15 companies. I was going to go with them on price and parts this summer until I did more research and decided against them.

ABS scores slightly higher. I went with Velocity Micro, which scored higher still and was still pretty inexpensive.

I will say that I Buy Power is about the worst of all the companies I've yet seen, so you should have a better experience with Cyberpower. But I would still be leary of them and do more research.

p.s. Why the bias against "professional" opinions? Do you really want to base a large ticket purchase on stuff that reads "Der, don't ya go buying 'dis. It's da shiznit ," or "This is so l337! It pwns your mom, and costs less than your sister?" Personally speaking, if I'm looking for a computer, hdtv, car, or other big ticket item, the more professional I can find, the better.

I just bought my monster dream machine from cyberpower and they delivered it very very fast and it was in mint condition with everything working just as advertised. I had a few questions about things and the customer service was very good.

I had one little problem and it was that my monitor that I had ordered with the PC was backordered and I was never told about it. So when I got my new PC I didn't have a nice new monitor to hook it up to...a small thing but I just cancelled the backorder and went to walmart and picked one up.
Overall I would give cyberpower a 9/10 rating.

I don't have a bias against professional sounding reviews. Far from it. What I meant to say was that too many of the reviews sounded like my companies press releases and I therefore began to worry that they were posts from employees of the company trying to elevate the overall review scores. I know that resellerratings.com tries to police this but they didn't ask me who I worked for when I posted. Thank you everyone for all the feedback.

BTW, I just opened up the box containing my repaired IBUYPOWER computer. Aside from the fact that the case is broken open and there are literally pieces falling off it looks just great. Now I'm off to Costco for my return.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
