Anyone want to beta/check out my new website?

    Heya CLRs...

For the last little bit, I've been out of action working on photography related things. I've since developped a new website using an online thing to be used as a portfolio site and in the near future, a store front to sell / charge for image downloads.

The site gives the ability to customize HTML and CSS. Now note that I have *no* expertise and even very very basic knowledge of how things work.

I'd love for you guys to check it out and let me know what you think...if you find glitches or issues. Honest opinions only (trust me, I've had my images ripped apart by professional's comments, I can handle it )

    PierreBPhoto

Also, let me know what browser you used to check it out. I've found out that web pages react differently on different browsers. I've tested with Firefox, IE7 and IE8.

Things I'm going to work on:
    - a new banner to replace the standard text
    - guestbook
    - rework the wording in the About Me section
    - a new Event section

Thanks for taking the time guys and gals!
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.

I just poked around and it looks great. I used FF and it worked out fine.

            Thanks Ruthless!

Looks like I'll have to download Safari and Chrome to check them out and make sure I didnt bork something in the code.

Anything I should add to the site? I was thinking putting up a Contact Me link on the main NavBar along with a GuestBook. But I don't want too much in there as it removes from the "clean" look of the site

Looking good in IE. One suggestion is to allow me to float over "My Portfolio" and go right down to one of the sub-areas. Right now I have to click "My Portfolio" so the sub-areas stay up long enough to move the mouse to them to select.

Might be an IE thing, I can float over the Portfolio in FireFox and get the drop down...no click on Portfolio needed.

                  Thanks for pointing that out..

EDIT: Tried on IE8 at home and I didnt have to click on Portfolios to bring down the list. As long as the mouse is over Portfolio or parts of the drop down, the list stays up...

                      Very nice as always

                      FireFox 3.6.13 - No Problems

                      Chrome 8.0.552.237 - No Problems

                      IE 8.0.7600.16385 cipher 256-bit - No Problems

HTC EVO Browser Webkit 3.1 - No Problems other than full site initially hid the dropdown for the galleries behind the picture. Once selected it cleared up. The mobile version of the site was quite pleasant and easy to navigate.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
