Ok folks, I decided to create a league anyway. It's an 8 team league, so we may have to recruit 1 random dude, but them's the breaks.

The league is Cain's Lair Regulars, Pw is ApacheisOld. Here is the url:

I set us up for a live draft on Friday, March 25 at 8pm. I think I may be able to move that if needed but it seems like an ok time considering how many people I see playing then.

Both NL and AL players, 25 (i think) man rosters, regular 5x5 scoring, and I added an extra OF and disabled list slots. Bumped up the maximum innings and games limits a tad. Good setup for learning the game.

Play around with the interface a bit, and pre-rank your players. You want to make sure that anyone who is really hurt or who you don't like is off the list of players or you may get stuck with them.

You don't want Adam Wainwright, for example. He was one of the best pitchers in baseball last year, but he had Tommy John surgery this spring and is out all year. Chase Utley is also hurting with an issue that may or may not keep him out. He's a big, big risk.

Once you're done with pre-ranking, make sure you're all ready and we'll draft tomorrow night. I'm going to go make the league public to fill the last spots.
