Look for gaps in your lineup and potential trade partners. Keep in mind the scoring system, which is 5x5: for offense, homers, runs, rbi, batting average, stolen bases. You want these to be as high as possible.

For pitching, you have wins, strikeouts, and saves. You want these as high as possible. You also have ERA and WHIP, which you want to be as low as possible.

If you have more than one good player at a position, he's a good guy to trade to get something you want or need. Try to find a team that needs what you have to offer.

How does a player get on the Cant cut list?? My 3B is on the 15 day DL and I wanted to drop him but he is on my cant cut list and I didnt put him there....is there a way around it?

The only players who make the can't cut list are the superstars. Both Yahoo and ESPN (and other sites) have these lists because in the free leagues, but also unfortunately the paid, players have been known to drop their entire teams into free agency when they get ticked off or whatever. Throws off any semblence of league equity.

Use your DL slots. I gave us 2 I think. In your lineup just choose DL for him. Players on the DL open up new roster slots for you to select replacements from the free agency wire.

Just so you know, Evan Longoria is at worst the 2nd best 3rd baseman in baseball.

Doh! I was trying to decide if I wanted to add a different OF and then noticed the story that Manny Ramirez got busted for 'roids and quit baseball. Guess that made the decision pretty easy.
