Nope, not the wrong forum ... and its not a PC upgrade, silly !! Its a big boy toy upgrade !!
After 1.5 years of scooting around the woods of Pennsylvania on my sport quad, I got the chance to ride on a friend's utility ATV. I had been putting it off, fearing the worst, and finally it happened. After one ride, I was hooked. And after 1 year of saving and the sale of my beloved sport quad, this big old fatty showed up in my driveway yesterday:
Its a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 700 Twin EFI with a special paint scheme known as Mossy Oak. The color scheme also is applied to the rims and is best described as purple and brown leaves over a tan background. Stock, it comes with a Warn winch, heated hand grips and the previous owner added a plow and large storage box on the back. So now that I have a plow, that means no more snow this year !! That's the way it always works, correct ??
I really didn't need to buy one with such a big motor, but the price was good for what I got (it cost a shade over $4k). I have to do some cleanup and patchwork on it (one tire has a leak in it from an old plug) but otherwise it appears solid and ready to ride.
I will post some pics in about 2 weeks when I finally get some time to get it into the woods.
