I thought SEAL team 6 was disbanded and replaced by DEVGRU.

Best part of burial at sea? We can all walk down to the shore and piss on his grave.

Now we need to hold Pakistan's feet to the fire and find out how he was able to hide in their version of West Point. Or just carpet bomb it.
We are minus one chopper...a Blackhawk or Seahawk I'm guessing...due to hard landing. (No casualties) That sounds like they came in very
very very quick and just slammed it down on the ground so they could rush the compound. I hope someone on the team filmed this mission.

That's because it's the way I would spell it. Like the soon-to-be-former leader of Libya, Mr. bin Laden had a few different ways to translate his name.

The intelligence community called him "UBL", so I'm going to side with them. If UBL (Usama) is good enough for the CIA then it's good enough for me.

The only wordplay game that FNC plays that I detest is "homicide bomber". I mean, isn't every bombing resulting in a death a homicide bombing? The term 'suicide' indicates that the bomber purposefully died along with the victims. Homicide bomber was something that the Bush 43 administration came up with to make suicide bomber sound a little more cute and cuddly, and FNC followed along.

Good point, K. It seems most of the difficulties arose from Pakistan's reluctance to help.

                  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42873092..._of_bin_laden/

The al-Qaida terrorist leader behind the Sept. 11 attacks lived and died in a massive, fortified compound built in 2005 and located on the outskirts of Abbottabad, some 60 miles from the capital of Islamabad. It stood just a half-mile from the Kakul Military Academy, Pakistan's equivalent of West Point, and close to various army regiments.
congressional Republicans and Democrats questioned whether bin Laden was hiding in plain sight, with Pakistani military and intelligence operatives either totally unaware of his location or willfully ignoring his presence to protect him.
Again I give Obama credit for authorizing the strike (without Pakistan's consent/knowledge) and for his stepped-up use of drone strikes and such in Pakistan territory: they didn't like it...but it might not have been necessary if they (Pakistan) were actually doing what they said they were: helping us. And now the information that was on the hard drives, DVDs, etc. pulled from his compound should help scatter and/or eliminate even more of their network. Very fine, very fine indeed.
