Mississippi River Spillway snake

ok so i'm sure everybody has heard on the news that things are getting quite tense in my neck of the woods with the Mississippi River flooding and whatnot.

We opened a spillway this past Saturday and everything should be fine, we hope!

So check out what somebody seen when going take a look at the spillway!

We used to not but, people have released large snakes into the wild. The Everglades have quite a few now.

Talked to a guy on Mississippi yesterday. Baton Rouge
Said flood level was 46 feet, river at 65 feet then,
and Levee at 75 feet.. They thought river would crest last night
and they would be OK.

I was going to ask if that snake is really from Mississippi or Austraila but Trooper 110 seems to cover it. I looked up Mississippi Morganza Snake and some said its not from Mississippi
