    Working out weight gain advice

Hey Peeps. Any tricks to gaining weight while i'm working out?
Went from almost 190 to 136, and although i used Muscle milk before and after, was not gaining weight. I'm trying Cyto weight gainer now, started today. Fast twitch 30 minutes before workout. Force Factor when this runs out soon.

All my pants/shorts are falling off of me, I am going to invest in suspenders.. lol

I'm hoping the weight gainer powder will get me some pounds back, and I DO have six pack abs, not bad for a +50 yr old, but I'd like to bulk up abit. I was working out yesterday, and the shorts i was wearing dropped to the ground. Thank goodness the corporate workout room is not well attended. (Empty, lots of Fluffy people work with me)

    Suggestions?

Back when i was 19-20, I was 190 and a workout fanatic. Not so much now. I can work out 1-1.5 hours a day, don't want to spend just tons of hours pumping weights every day. I don't have the time or inclination.

My cardio is from being a ref at soccer. Don't need to endlessly ride a bike or a stepmaster. Boring as hell. And they PAY me to referee.. how sweet it is.

Caveat.. I lost most of the weight from 2 surgeries, dropped the last 10 from working out.

    Watch the movie Fathead.
    Eat more bacon.
Seriously though, watch the movie. The simple equation of eat more calories than you burn=gain weight, eat less than you burn=lose weight, is not that simple, and, really, not true.

you're looking to put on muscle mass i presume
let me know what your typical workout is like on any day(pick one and tell what its like) and ill tell you some suggestons to help make adjustments plus, if you lost most of your weight from surgery i would be careful about trying to weight gain because it might come faster than you think. i bulked up for years in high school and now im going to ub to play D1 football, they got me working a plyo system to develope twich muscles and agility

lol I hope hes going for muscle, otherwise, just eat craploads of gummie bears and coca cola. Youll do fine.

And PJ, That is awesome man. Be careful out there, if you get damaged for life, atleast try and make millions and millions of dollars beforehand.

i already assume im going to damage my knee I'm lucky as it is that they are so heavily considering me as i fully understand that i will probably blow out my left knee throughout the course of college ball but hey im doing it because i love the sport i fully understand the possible harms and know that even if i do blow out my knee it would've been all worth it in the end.

And back on topic for this post....
i would also like to get an idea of body frame to help guide you, approximately how tall are you, shoulder width, and waist span. Using these we can better calculate a decent weight for you to be at, and figure out if you should actually try and gain weight or not. BTW im jealous if you actually have a definative six pack i've had a 4 pack all throughout high school but never had the definitive lines on my lower two abs, oddly enough that is supposedly due to genetics, some people are genetically unable to get a 6 pack lol.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
