The magazine ended the contest. The one picture that was 'winning' was one of the most horrible pictures posted. It had over 2000 votes the last time I looked. This one:

There were sooooo many great pictures published. I wouldn't have mind if one of those great pictures would have been in the lead.
Anyway, it was more of a popularity contest then a photo competition. Last I heard the magazine was going to have a select few judges pick an actual winner. And promised to do it differently next time.
