i'm tired of this godforsaken city sometimes. murder capitol of the world, corrupt politicians, topsy turvy weather, anybody wanna switch?

on the other hand, its weird but you would only understand if you lived here, i love this city and hate it at the same time. great food, great people (not the criminals), and great culture.

Most places come with both good and bad. Just a matter of which one wins out for your personal preference. Personally, I could never live in a place where Winter occupies > 1/4 of the year (ie, most of the upper US). So I'll stick with So Cal, at least until I can't understand anyone here anymore

Come to north Georgia! The trees are beautiful and weather isn't too cold or hot. You'll have to donate bodily organs to pay your rent, battle hordes of bad drivers on the congested roads, and deal with snobs.

South Georgia is nice...minus the heat and gnats.

Emissions tests are fine, unless you have an old clunker. And yes, unless you live in metro San Fran, you basically MUST own a vehicle (or just never leave your house). As for the cancer thing, California is the only state MAN enough to call out all those cancer causing items......

Illegal to smoke in your car (when minors are present), in restaurants, bars, or in any government building.
Illegal to use a cell phone while driving (unless you are using a hands-free device) - because no one ever crashed from fiddling with their hands free phone
Illegal to spank your children...at all, ever.
Illegal to own a pet that isn't spayed or neutered (unless its a licensed breeding dog - this is for L.A. County).

But hey, at least Marijuana is legal!*

Ya a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. My dad gives me a hard time saying that it is a Democrat car, because I am a registered Republican. He asks "are you becoming a Democrat?' My dad just likes to give me a hard time.

Born and raised here ... I've been to:

Canada - clean, not a sign of garbage anywhere, eh ? Strip clubs=legendary
Cali - crazy how diverse it is ... everybody has to have it all custom done.
FLA - beaches, lots of .. beaches ... and T-backs .. and .... *shudders*
NY - had to be told the 'NY rules' before we made it intown. Don't stare at anyone !!
Bermuda - absolutely gorgeous island ... pricey as all get out !! 1.2 mil gets you an outhouse !
