    Oklahoma earthquake

A second earthquake of 5.6 hit Oklahoma tonight. I thought we had a couple CLRs from there, everyone ok?

Side note: I work overnight tonight and felt it all the way here in KC! I thought it was nothing but when other people started commenting on it I checked usgs.

There are way too many earthquakes happening while we are approaching 2012!

I see one more of his films and I'll probably kill myself before 2012!

Woot Caddys still here What a Saturday. Here is a story if you guys don’t mind

Saturday morning around 2:15am, I was up at my desk reading pfSense forums. Just wondering what it has to offer. Story is I was reading my router logs and it showed I was getting hits from China and exploring my options.

Well anyway I heard a sound what sound like a gust of wind. Only thing is it was getting stronger. For a while I thought someone is trying to break in my house. I was just sitting there listing to the sound. While sitting there I notice my LCD monitor was swaying side to side like someone bump the screen. I looked at my big flat screen TV and it was swaying side to side. I was like WTF? Then it hit me. I felt the rolls throughout my body. My desk chair isn’t the best and it gives a little. I thought I was going nuts so I was trying to hold still. But somehow I was still rocking. It lasted 30 seconds or so. I quickly post on facebook lol. This was the 4.7 There were a few aftershock but I didn’t feel them.

Saturday night around 10:53pm or so, another earthquake except this was different. I didnt hear much of that gust of wind sound. My LCD monitor started to shake so I figured its another earthquake. I made a post on facebook except something was odd. This was getting louder, longer and stronger. What I mean louder by the whole house was just shaking and creaking. I grab my cellphone, my emergency USB thumb drive that I keep in case of tornado’s or major power outage and my lil schnauzer and went to the hallway bathroom door. This last well over a minute. This was reported as a 5.6

Throughout the the night and into the Sunday early morning, there were aftershocks but I didn’t feel them.

The only damage I could find... So far

              My bedroom

Oklahoma gets small earthquakes throughout the year but I never feel them. I do admit its a interesting experience. I thought it was funny some of my California friends on Facebook are calling us weenies lol. I can deal with tornado’s, softball size hail, ice, but this was out of my comfort zone. Especially since most of these houses are not earthquake safe. (I dont know about the new modern homes) I guess its time to add earthquake insurance to my policy

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
