So, what have you all thought of the holiday sale so far, and what have you gotten? I'm disappointed that it's got such a heavy focus on indie games, though I understand it, simply because the deals on bigger titles aren't as good as usual. Today though, they've got HOMM 6 and Dead Island for good prices. Only problem is, my xmas cash is already gone.

I did pick up L4D and L4D2 at the great price of $7.49 though, and got universal sandbox. Considering Dungeons of Dredmor, Defcon, and Fate of the World, and maybe a few other $2.50 titles.

Also, I won a gift copy of Portal. Any of you who still don't have that game that may want to trade for duplicates of something you have?

I bought universal sandbox several month ago. Its a good educational game or what ever it is. They finally support Nvidia 3D. But other then that. ZZZzzz... Defcon is alright but too confusing when I played the Demo some years back. Its a strategy game to see who can nuke each other first lol. I may buy it just to say I have it

Ended up getting the 3 games I was deciding on, and Crysis 2 at Amazon ($9.99 for DL right now). Looks like Dredmor may be fun when I have time to actually play it. I too played Defcon's demo, and it's a fun little diversion for the price. Fate of the World looks like it may be complicated so I'll need time for the tutorials.

Suppose it's for the best I didn't get much. I still have Assassin's Creed 2, Civ 5, and Mafia just from the Summer Sale that I haven't even installed yet, to say nothing for my other games in the play pile (~18 games for PS2/3 and Wii; Sim City 4, Dungeon Siege 3, King's Bounty Armoured Princess, and Planescape Torment on PC) .

When I get a chance I will poke through the list for games Mini might enjoy but for now he seems to be content with BF3 and I don't wan tot distract him form RL then he already is.
