    London NYE fireworks time again!

Post this every year and this year will be no different. Watch on YT at 1080p for full effect.

Whoever they've hired these past 2 years is doing a mighty fine job with the display.

Pretty sure the first time in history that fireworks have been set off of Big Ben. I imagine the tower was fully checked for damage afterwards lol.

Also, who new Prodigy (8m07s) would go so well to fireworks.

I was just talking to the wife last night about how lame U.S. NYE celebrations on tv have become. Nobody shows fireworks, all they show is 2 hours of stupid music, the incredibly hard-to-watch Dick Clark (post-stroke), and a bunch of idiots in Times Square.

Here in DC, the local news my wife was watching didn't even mention the National Mall and DC's fireworks. Not once. Instead, they kept talking about Alexandria's First Night, which would be shooting ping pong balls into the air because fireworks need to be 300 yards away in Virginia now, and they were too close. (Alexandria is in the south-west portion of the traditional diamond shape of DC. The Virginia portion was conveyed to Virginia and is now two different cities within the "old" DC border).

Love some good fireworks. Thanks for posting!

300 yards?!?!?! I think the closest viewing areas for the London fireworks was probably around 150ft lol.

I think we can expect bigger and better things each year now. The past 2 years have set a very high standard. You should check out last years. It can be found on the BBC YouTube channel too.

Think last years finale was better.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
