Cintiq 24HD!!!!

I just wanted to share with you guys something really nice that happened to me a few days ago...

I've been working for a couple of plastic surgeons, doing illustrations for their book about breast reconstruction after breast cancer... well, they brought me a nice present the other day. a CINTIQ 24HD!!!! whoa!!! ...just like that, out of the blue.

They told me: "we saw it and we thought you might like it. So we got it for you "

And I thought I was the only nice person out there, they proved me wrong lol

yeah! I'm loving it! ...this thing is way too big and heavy, I tried to use it as my main monitor but it didn't work out because my other 2 monitors are LED LCD, and look way better (spoiled, I know), they also have a better refresh rate. Oh, and I can't make the colors look "right" they are too saturated and bright, I need to find some software to calibrate it :/

Cool stuff Luis. Those things are NOT cheap. I'm happy with my 5x7 Intuos 3, but the Cintiq is great for painters like yourself. Congrats.
