Bah, all this talk about missing out on a sale convinced me to buy ... count me in for Fallout 3:NV
I loaded Fallout 3 up on the new PC to finish playing it .. corrupted save on the last mission of the game ticked me off years ago enough to forget to finish it.
Little did I know that there was a bug that causes quad core chips to crash within 10 minutes of playing. Edited my .Ini file to direct the game to only use 2 cores and no crashes since.

I almost bought the DLC for that game but I was able to control myself.
