Hey gang,
Although its been awhile since I posted, some of the regs should remember me
I just wanted come in and say a very special Thank You to Cain & Pam for hosting my son and his touring band by opening their home and allowing them to stay the night.
Most of you will remember BranFlakes{CLjR} at age 11 !! Well he is growing up, graduated high school and touring with his PopPunk Band IWasAHero. They booked their first 2 week tour and are currently in their second week and making their way back home for next Saturday.
Being a small local group from Albany NY and touring the south isn't easy, some shows they will play to 100 kids and others shows to 5 kids. Thats life of a touring musician at 17 years old.
By opening their home, Pam and John have made Brans first touring experience a most memorable one and actually having a friend to stay with so far from will be the highlight of this whole experience.
Brandon is the booking manager, singer, merch guy, promoter and any other thing he needs to be in order to succeed and play the music that he's loves. At 17 he is out in the world learning the buisness the only way possible, by living and being in it, talking with other bands, managers, labels, promoters and learning how it's really done.
Knowing there are people in the world like Pam & John who see these kids passion to succeed and are willing to open their homes and help them in any way possible gives me hope that while my son is out there there are good people to help him while he's out exploring what life has to offer.
