Statement by Administrator Shah on the Death of USAID Foreign Service Officer Ragaei Abdelfattah | U.S. Agency for International Development

This was my former supervisor at M-NCPPC, Prince George's County Planning Department. He left about 3 years ago. We did not get along, to put it lightly. So this is extremely conflicting to me.

Not sure if it helps or hurts that he's the first person I've personally known who was a casualty on the "war on terror."

It's OK to be conflicted in this case, people die every day with others not liking them. I guess you may disagree with some of the things that are being said now but that's just the way it is.

Karma, perhaps? Whatever the case, he was there by choice. Usually the purest of a-holes live the longest lives (think Cheney...thirty-five bypassed, lol)...so this is unusual.
