    Some Issues...

I just wanted to ask you folks to remember me in prayer in the coming weeks. I have had some small issues with my heart. I have been having some palpitations and light-headedness over the past several weeks. I finally went to the ER sunday morning and I have not had a heart attack but they feel that there is something going on. My cardiologist did a heart ultrasound on me today as weel as more blood test. I go in monday for a thallium stress test so that can get some pictures of my heart. I really feel that in the very near future a heart cath will need to happen. please add me to your prayer list.

Good luck. I had similar symptons manifest in April, 2004 (I know the timeframe because I almost passed out twice driving home from a conference in DC). It turned out to be a combination of myocardial regurgitation (leaking valve), arrythmia, and general anxiety disorder.

They and me have to keep an eye on things so nothing gets worse, but the major symptoms are largely kept at bay by my medication.

Hopefully it's something relatively minor like this.

A year ago, when I had my baby, the doctors told me that my heart did something weird and that I should see a cardiologist. 3 months later, I was having palpitations and I wasn't feeling very well. The cardiologist did stress test, ecos and blood work.
A few days later, they called me at 7 am saying it was urgent to see and endocrinologist because the results were very abnormal. My level of TSH (which is supposed to be between 2-4) was at 168. Meaning my body was shutting down. I had a lot of symptoms but never made any connections with my thyroid. Among them (they think) it is this thing with my heart. I went through a lot of tests. I have been taking medication for the last 8 months and my heart is still not functioning normal and still have palpitations. They say it takes time to adjust, since my TSH was so bad. If it doesn't go away, I'll have to take pills for my heart, but that is a bridge I'll cross when the time comes, if it does.
I'll keep you in my prayers. The good thing is that you are being looked at,and they will find out what it is. Do not let your mind go too far with this, but I understand....

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
