What do you think the Charger's chances are of beating the Patriots?
What are the odds of the world blowing up tomorrow ? Cause there is a better chance of it happening. lol
Personally with the Cowboys and the Colts off track now. I hope the Packers win. I grew up around Packer games so I would like to see them win over the rest that are in the playoffs.
If LdT and Rivers are back, then who knows if the Chargers can beat the Pats. Its playoff time and its only one game. The Pats are bound to slip up at some time.
They didn't look like the solid Pats I know in the first half of the game. Sure, Brady was perfect, but the Jags had their number on defence.
I'm pretty sure the Packers will beat the Giants. I think the Pats will beat the Chargers.
While I usually go for NFC teams, one of the few teams I'm pulled for in the AFC are the Pats, back in the day Doug Flutie was their QB hehe.
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]
I can not tell you how frustrated I get with all the sports annalists. I sometimes wounder how much they actually take into account when making a prediction. Take the Chargers/Pats game for example. There two most important players are injured and some annalists think they can still beat the healthy Pats?? C'mon!! In one breath the guys will say the Pats can't be beaten they are perfect, in the next breath they say a banged up Chargers team can beat them.
Second of all they say you have to run on the Pats to beat them. IMO, it's going to take a team with a great offense all around to score lots of points on them. Only one of those teams are left.... Green Bay.
Now believe it or now some annalists are giving the Giants good oods against the packers. Now they must have been watching a different NFL season than I have. They say the Giants are a great road team, but they apparently have looked at who they beat on the road. They beat at home the Skins, Falcons, Dolphins, Lions, Bears, Eagles, and the Bills. Yep tough road schedule.
Now numbers wise Green Bay has the 2nd best RB in the League. They say GB has the best Corners in the League, we have the best group of receivers in the league. There is literally no real weakness on GB, and they have the power to score tons of points in a game. Most important, GB is the healthiest and playing better than they have all year. Now where is the love. In my somewhat Bias opinion GB is the only team left in the playoffs that can beat the Pats, yet no one has even mentioned that possibility.
My prediction.... Pats embarrass the Chargers, and GB beats the Giants. This will lead to one of the best Super Bowls we have seen in a long time. I truly believe GB has the team to beat them. Although I will say its going to be hella tough!
I agree with MD.. If GB and NE play in Superbowl, I just hope Favre does not get injured. That is what I am afraid of.
The fox guys predicted Dallas was going to win.. why?? has anyone seen how they played for the past month and a half. It was funny watching TO crying in the conference. I guess he had too much popcorn. Dallas fans are still blaming Jessica Simpson for the loss that is so funny.
Colts deserved to loose yesterday even though I was hoping for them to go all the way. They did not play with intensity as they had before. Some of the offensive play calling was lousy. Why was harrison taken out?? yes he fumbled once but that come on that is because of not playing for a long time. Indy defense was bad yesterday as well..

You are going to tell me that Jennings and Driver are better than Stallworth, Moss and Welker? Wayned and Harrison? Fitzgerald and Boldin? Johnson and Housh?
Yes, they are great duo. But who is this ?They? who say they are the best in the league?
And what numbers are you looking at that say that Gant is the #2 RB in the league? If you are looking at post season, the one playoff game, he is the best by the numbers.
If you look in terms of production during the season, he is 19th in total yards, 24th in yards per game, 25th in rushing attempts, 50th in average yards per run. He comes in at 9th for TDs,
He is a good player, but I can?t find numbers that backup saying he is the 2nd best RB in the league.
And don't forget, on any given sunday, you never know who will win. Although I do think its going to be a GB and NE superbowl. Actually, I hope it is as I think thats going to give us, the fans, the best matchup for a good game

Yes I think they are very close talent wise, and don't forget the GB receivers lead the league in Yards after the catch. Thats a pretty important stat. You also left out James Jones, Koren Robinson, and Ruvell Martin. They have all proven themselves. We also now have two very good Tight Ends with Bubba Franks back, along with Donald Lee. On top of all that Jennings avg's 14 yards per catch, and Donald Driver avg's just over 14 yards per catch. So Individually not the absolute best in the league, but as a group, with out a doubt the best. Thats an opinion.

Grant rushed for 929 yards and eight touchdowns after taking over as the Packers' feature back in Week 8. Yes your stats are for just about half a season. LT was the only RB that had more yards than Ryan Grant in the second half. I'd love to compare Grants whole year to the other RB's but Like I said, he wasn't a starter until week 8.
Mind you I am a bit bias being a huge Packer fan. I also know as much as I talk them up you are right. They can loose, as can any team no matter how good they are. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed and prey.
