I read somewhere that a piece of hardware broke from the robot.

Stuff emits from the Lander... I am thinking its just one of the pieces that were part of the land fall. no biggy

Foam, etc... and pieces of the metal ejecta when they jetisoned the lander are scattered all over

I wonder what would happen if they found a bunch of huge gold nuggets? If there really was running water on mars at one time, it's concieveable that one could find gold.
