Cos every time I play the disc even 5 yrs later i so want to watch ads for things thats been in the cinema
and bonus features that reveal that the entire 2nd set is mainly cg!

They actually can butcher it even more, but I guess it won't matter because it's a ginormous cash cow for Disney now.

We won't see what would be coolest--the 5 yrs after Endor stuff with Thrawn. All the players are too old unless recast. What they should consider is the comic series with a descendant of Luke turning toward Jedi powers to take down a resurgent and vast Sith empire.

I'm 110% ok with the new movies dismissing the current canon and making something completely original. As interesting as a Thrawn trilogy would be, I'd rather see/read new stories than seeing books made into movies.

And lets hope that after episode 9 they put this part of the timeline to rest and make some movies in a different time of the Star Wars universe, where they can start fresh with very few restraints.
