Well, I had my first day of civilian work last night. I work at this truckstop that has a blimpys and pizza hut in it, I work at both blimpys and pizza hut. It is alright, 8.50$ an hour, nice people, they are pretty fun too.
Depending on who is working the register, we can eat as many pizzas and sandwiches as we want too.
It is really slow this time of year, mostly a few locals and random truckers passing though so we are basically just trying to not be bored the whole time. Even the manager is really cool, and understanding.
I made my first friends in Utah also.
Going to be getting my permit tommorow, and then after 40 hours of driving, my license. And after a few paychecks, a used car also, which I cant wait for, I really miss my dad and once I get a car I can go see him. I havent seen him in 8 months or so since we lost our house.
