Forum Updates and Changes [7] 11/20/12

Well its the dawn of a new age.
But never fear, The old stuff is near!

And some new things too!

I'll post here about things that have changed and updated,
please keep an eye on the number + date in the topic title as I will be using that to signify changes to this post.

18-20th Nov

• Tweaks to layouts etc
• Added 'breadcrumb' to bottom of page (same as above)

16th Nov

• HLStatsX, SourceBans and Report a Jerk header buttons open in new window/tab
• Image auto resizer

15th Nov

• Sorted user bar a little more, colors etc
• Added clickable "PM" notification alert between header and body (You have pending notifications. msg)
• Added text before 'First New Post' button
• Adjusted activity stream html avatars no longer cut into stream data
• Added activity stream to forum sub menu in navbar at top
• Added posts in the last 24hrs link to whats new sub menu in navbar at top

14th Nov

• Smilies back beside quick reply
• Removed dead space on posts
• Juneau made new headers
• Fixed a few old back end things
• Added back your user bar
  • SteamID's have been reimported
  • Stats links added:
    Put you steam id here on you profile settings
    Or goto your profile page and click about me and edit there

Soooooo.... there are still some of us that play games other than CS, like BF3.... I know the only server Cain's Lair has right now is a CS:GO one, but does it have to be the only banner across the top of the site? Shouldn't it be a Cain's Lair one, like it used to be?

And answer to the headers is same as alot of things.
Atm everything thats needing done is of equal importance.
But juneau has worked on the headers as a stop gap in mean time

As Sirex stated, the banners are a stop gap, but are also to show what we're playing and pushing as our server. Pretty much all previous banners have been about the 'current game', just less obvious than now.

I think he may mean the picture of Cains theater? It also used to say you will come for the games but stay for the people didn't it? I think the CS part is great but it could use a little more community stuff in the background.

The difference in the move this time is due to the amount of work we had to do to go from phpbb to vb3 we went all out in one go.
This time seen as it was a version jump and well pretty much simple (its ment to be anyway), idea was to get the thing in place then sort out as we go on.

So its a little different this time you'll get to see the forums build up over time XD

Arcade is messed up. It shows my score in Mumu of 336 as 1st place and my score of 822 as being second place. Last time I checked, 822 is a higher score than 336.
