That sniper game is terrible. You do very little killing and end up just sneaking around enemy lines. Sure, that's what snipers apparently do, but it is about as much fun as dropping the soap in the shower... in my house.

I had a quick go of the demo and came to the same conclusion very quickly.

Does the new Tomb Raider require an UbiSoft Account to run?

          Is FTL worth getting?

I'm having a bit of fun with FTL. The American sale price makes it worthwhile since it's just $2.50. Not sure what it would be in Europe.

Steam has a simple currency converter. Prices in Europe are the "same" as in the US, i.e. 2.50 $ = 2.50 €.

I've noticed that too Grisu. It's why I only tend to use Steam during the summer sale.

                Picked up Deadlight.

Anyone have any interest in trading spare summer getaway cards? I've got a spare Skyrim, would look for Bioshock, Chivalry, Football Manager, Reus, or Tomb Raider.

Finding it a bit annoying that some of the games that should be plum picks came into the sale overpriced. I just saw The Testament of Sherlock Holmes on a flash sale at 75% off but it's still 10 bucks, more than I would want to pay. That series is interesting enough for me to like, but none of them are worth $40 bucks retail. It should have come into the sale around $20 and discounted from there. I haven't bought anything since Saturday, and for a Steam Summer Sale that's unusual.

The Skyrim card is gone. Though I have a spare Dead Island Riptide card to trade.

If you folks don't have it yet, Terraria is HIGHLY recommended, especially at the daily deal price. It's much, much better than Minecraft and has a pretty neat style to it.

I'm really tempted by it, however I've set myself an overall budget for the sale and I don't want to miss out on the game by overspending early.

I moved Skyrim, but have an extra Kerbal Space Program now.

Finally getting into some good stuff. I went ahead and picked up Assassin's Creed III yesterday and I'm going to get Dead Island Riptide, Fallen Enchantress, and Gunpoint when I get home. That will give me between 3 and 4 more cards I think since I'm close to another one already on the "1 card every $10 bucks" path.

My backlog of Steam games from the last 2+ years of Xmas and Summer Sales is massive, and I want to play Infamous 2, LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, GTA 4 Episodes from Liberty City, and some Wii games before getting back to some of the Steam stuff. Never enough time.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
