First of all there are an aweful lot of quotes coming from unknown sources... hell the author even has a weird name "staff writers". Last but not least, I don't tend to trust any such BS coming from these "staff writers" or from ANY news staff who claim any sort of professionalism when they can't even spell words like "organizations", "galvanized", and "pretences" which by the way is a noun that assimilates "Chiefly British" (you think there's something strange there?) when they meant to spell "pretenses". I didn't bother reading anything past the first two paragraphs for these simple reasons.
Garbage.

Which would output a line for each to the things that I looked for. It's actually quite easy
Heres what grep is
grep is a command line utility that was originally written for use with the Unix operating system. Given a list of files or standard input to read, grep searches for lines of text that match one or many regular expressions, and outputs only the matching lines.
Cool, you're a unix user too!
The point I'm getting at is the fact that I don't read too much into foreign countries' news about US politics especially when they're not always gramatically correct, facts are taken out of context, and quotes are usually not referenced or are from non proven/discredited sources. It is just as bad as the emails stating that I have won the UK lottery, or emails stating my Citibank card info needs to be updated or my account will be closed. (which 99% of the time are bogus links to offshore bogus websites, which I have busted a couple.) BUT HEY, that's just me... do with it as you wish. I was simply stating my opinion of it... not the content itself. I like to think of myself as being more patriotic than that.

GWB is a pimple on that dead mans ass. Nixon was a diplomat, the later bush is a hick in comparison.
if you think that every president of the modern era hasn't been involved in the same or worse kind of foolishness, then i call you naive.

I drive an SUV because I like it...
The earth has cycles and we are in a warmer cycle at the moment. Green peace can burn in my opinion. But that is me.... Summers with the BBQ... Bon-fires every night.
Here is my answer to Greenpeace... if the planet was gonna give out then it would have a long time ago. I don't plan to live my life day by day thinking to myself that If I go and start the car the world might collapse. I do feel that leaving garbage around will destroy land but apart from radiation and a few other smalls things... anything we do can be fixed.[/off]
But I do agree that Greenpeace hinders more than helps. They are along the lines of what I think of PETA and their "crusade" to help animals.
And not anything can be fixed. Unless it has been broken and fixed in the past, can't guarantee that actions we take today, not knowing the consequences of those actions, can be fixed. Might be a natural occurance that will fix itself in time, but that we don't know. We, as humans, can't fix the ice caps that are melting. We can fix the problems that are making them melt. But if its what Mother Nature intended, then there is nothing at all we can do to fix it.[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

How about a shift into financial policy...
Fresh off the wire: CNN is reporting that the government may issue refund checks to just about everyone of $600 per person or $1,200 per couple to stimulate spending.
Not the greatest idea for the overall health of the country's financial situation, because people are finally starting to realize that they may want to save some cash so they don't become one of the millions of foreclosures to happen over the next 5 years.
But hey, I'm going to Disney World for 2 weeks in August-September, so gimme gimme gimme.
