Gotta say, I really feel shitty about this. From what I've heard he was a really down to earth guy, and his role in the Fast and Furious movies (as shitty as they are), really got me into cars as a kid. RIP to him.

Yep, poor guy died while someone else was driving. Both are dead, nobody posting anything about the other guy. Oh the irony.
Mucho respect for him, he was a decent actor and normal person, and as for the Fast and Furious movies... won't be the same but at the same time, they'll keep going because Vin Diesel is the franchise. Who is also a super cool guy, like who seriously admits to playing D&D as a movie star... You do Vin Diesel, because you're fucking Vin Diesel.Comment

He was a stand up guy. Didn't have drug/sex/hate slander all over the place about him. Was out for charity (which is what he was doing when he died). Was an actual car guy, and a dozen other things. There isn't enough good that could be said about him, to be short about it.
The other guy, I am reading from bits and pieces, was "almost on the same level." Was also a car guy, and a stand up dude.
There's talk that it was a conspiracy that killed him. There's talk that it was all faked. Long and short of it, anything but sorrow over the loss is kind of rude.

As a fan of the movies I'm sad about this. On a human level I'm sad about the loss of life and feel bad for the friends and families of the deceased.
but...
from the first time I heard about what exactly was known to have happened, and all of the information that's been coming out over the last few days, my main thought is that I'm happy that they slammed into a pole instead of a vehicle with innocent people inside.Comment
