That is pretty cool, it take a lot of worm to put something like that together. I love the 737, I hope its the next plane I get trained in.

        That's pretty amazing!

I wonder if he has his own TSA hassling anyone watching?

Ever wanted to fly the big jets, Duke? 747, a340 etc?

Not really, flying them would be great but long hauls overseas seems like it would be boring. I should be having an opportunity to got to mainline AA within 6 months or so domestic 737 would be my first choice followed by the MD 80 then the A320.

Not sure why but I imagined there would be some 747's for the popular US routes. Guess not.

Most of the Trans con flights are on 757/767, I have deadheaded on a 777 from ORD to DFW once, I even got first class.

                  Nice!!!

Any obvious reason where more 757/767's are chosen over less larger planes? Always imagined most Trans Con flights are full. Not sure if this is the case or not.

Thinking about it now, I don't think I've ever been on a flight that wasn't full.

I know the airlines spend a ton of money on their marketing to make sure they have a high load factor, they also know what size aircraft work for what markets, the wide body's bring in huge cash with the international market and that is what they are designed for, there is a size for every market, passengers are often surprised at the size of my aircraft, I usually reply something to the effect of "'m sorry but they cancelled the 747 flight from Milwaukee to O hare".

I few a 'small little puddlejumper' as I called it a few weeks ago(It was MCI to PHI). Forget what it was, but it was the smallest jet I've ever been on. 23 ish rows and a total of 3 seats across. It was surprisingly one of the better flights I've been on.

I think if I were a pilot, my goal would be to fly a 747 that lands at St Maarten or the now disused Kai Tak.

That route was probably flown on an Embraer 170/175, according to my flight tracker app.

This is my favorite approach, its the river visual into DCA. you have to be careful of the prohibited airspace of the Washington monument which is on the left while not flying too tight of a pattern. I have done this approach hundreds of times and it never gets old. Here is a random youtube video of it.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
