      It looks like he steadied his spin with his arms.

        Maybe the thickness of the air changed as he got lower and could exert more control when he got lower.

          The spin stopped once he entered the atmosphere. There was no air resistance all the way up there, which is why he was going 800MPH then down all the way to 130MPH.

            Surely the spin would continue in some way though. The atmosphere wouldn't abruptly fix his spin. To me, it looks as though he uses his arms in conjuction with the ever increasing air density to control himself.

            Been a while since I've done Physics lol.

                Well yeah i know that. Your initial response made it sound like it was all atmosphere that stopped the spin, and nothing to do with him. Or at least that's how I read it.
